Aus win 3rd ODI and series

CANBERRA: W-Indies lost the 3rd ODI by 39 runs on Wednesday after managing 290 in reply to 329 set by Australia.
Chasing a rather stiff target the W-Indies seemed on course for a win as they got to 200 hundred before the 35th over mainly due to 113 run third wicket stand between the Bravo brothers.
DM Bravo top scored with 86 with the help of 7 fours and a six, whereas DJ Bravo scored 51 with 5 hits to the fence.
None of the other batsmen could take the pressure of maintaining the high asking rate and wickets kept falling at regular intervals due to some tight bowling by the Aussies.
JP Faulkner was the pick of the Australian bowlers sending back 4 W-Indian batsmen giving away 48 runs. CJ McKay with 2-62 and MA Starc, M.Johnson and G.Maxwell with a wicket each supported him well.
S.Watson was declared the player of the match for his hard hitting 122 off just 111 balls.
Australia have a 3-0 lead in the 5 match ODI series, with both the sides due to meet again on February 8 at the SCG, Sydney.
