Eleven dead in Jakarta floods: disaster agency

JAKARTA: Eleven people have died in flood-related incidents in Jakarta, and more than 18,000 people were forced to leave their homes, Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency said Friday.

"Floods are occurring still and since January 15 11 people have died, five of which from electrocution," said agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho.
